I think this is pretty slick, and I give HP credit for coming up with something original.
My main computer is a small form factor PC with a big monitor, but the combination isn't easy to move around owing to the cables, and sometimes I'd like to work in the dining or living room. Something like this would be perfect: just unplug it from the mains, no interruptions. Clever!
