I really like Nim, but I wish I had the skills and time to contribute to a better http and https support without which a lot of modern use cases evaporate. My last project I attempted with Nim a few months ago, just getting TLS to work required hunting down openssl DLLs and it still didn't work, since I was under time constraint I caved in and went back to python.
