This description makes it seem like Guix still takes 60MB to bootstrap, but that is old news. Currently the bootstrap binary for the entire distribution is 357 bytes[0]! An impressive accomplishment. This is the direction that all distributions should be going to avoid Trusting Trust style back doors.
