Ask HN: Has Anyone Been to Web Summit? Any Tips?

I was invited to attend the Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal this November. It's my firs time and I don't know what to expect aside from what is being shown on videos. Anyone here been to Web Summit have any tips? Things I should do? What to avoid? Places to recommend visiting around the venue?

I've been to the one in Dublin. I would not return - it's a conference for grifters to bullshit other grifters. Absolute waste of time. A lot of it is "pay to play", too, so the authenticity of everything must be questioned.
