Ask HN: How did you manage to lower Stripe fees?

We are building a marketplace for the sport community, our early adopters are BJJ academies and we are quickly expanding using Stripe Connect. We've recently surpassed 1M (YTD) in Total Payment Volume. Is this a good time to negotiate fees with Stripe? Has anyone actually done that and can point me to the right direction?
