2023 Solar Eclipse – Oct 14 (science.nasa.gov)

We’re a couple of hours away from totality and it’s likely to be cloudy where we’d be able to view it. We’re still going to try.

My wife and I got a great view of the total Solar Eclipse in 2017 and it’s a fantastic experience. I encourage everyone to try to view one if you can. In this case, an Annular Eclipse should be interesting.

Also, please use appropriate safety glasses and equipment. Take care of your eyes.

Those who live in Kerrville, TX are really lucky! They are smack dab in the middle of this year's eclipse as well as next year's total eclipse.

There is an equally good solar eclipse in April 2024 that crosses the country the other way around.
