Tell HN: Personal page title is most probably incorrect

"What is a good title?" - I asked this myself today when processing hundreds of thousands of domains.

- You would not believe how many personal sites are entitled "Blog", or "Home", or None at all, or just a one simple word - Why am I expecting description inside you ask? Maybe because when going into a library I would not expect 50% of books with title "A book", or maybe I am just wrong - For example Mozilla serves as a good example: "Internet for people, not profit — Mozilla (US)". It clearly defines the page goal

Do you know about how to 'rank a page'? In my software (work after hours) I check:

- if page has title

- if page has description

- if page has og:title

- if page has og:description

- if page returns valid code (redirection reduces page ranking)

- if page contains robots.txt (a good page should contain that)

What additional things I could check to rank a page myself? Is there any diagram, information?
