Bourgeoisie Middle-Management
There is a sickness that afflicts all companies. They are detrimental both to the bottom-line of the company and to the experience of the rank and file employee who does the actual work. They are enemies to both the shareholders and the individual contributors. They are entitled, inept, and ineffective. They have no interest in growth. They have no interest in meritocracy. They have not the strategic leadership abilities, foresight abilities, or planning abilities of that of the executives and board. They do not have the technical skill set of the individual contributors. They have no respect from clients, or partners. They are disillusioned; they think the executives need them for the organization to function and that those who report to them need their leadership. They bring not clarity to an organization, they bring confusion and ambiguity. They celebrate this ambiguity and take credit for the achievements of the board, executives and individual contributors. This is the only thing that they do properly. They take advantage of the situation and credit for things that are not of their own doing. They deflect all responsibility. They truly have no purpose. They do nothing. Just a line on an excel sheet that could be erased with the only effect to the bottom line being increased profit. They work against the company's goals.
They are the bourgeoisie middle-management. They are not creators of value as are people who create companies, and they are not shepherds of value as are those who fund the companies and those who do the ground floor operations. They are parasites, and it is time they be removed.

[ 2.8 ms ] story [ 12.6 ms ] threadThere's no conspiracy. Your boss does not get paid more than you do for no reason, while simultaneously adding less value. Sorry but that's not how the world works.
