Funny how there was no T2 diabetes ~150 years ago even in population who ate a lot of meat.

Modern nutritional science is total garbage.

That's good, but it is missing a (potentially) massive confounding variable in physical activity.

Type 2 diabetes is mostly an outcome of obesity. Obesity is caused by a combination of calorie intake and activity level.

Flagging this. The journal article is not available, only the abstract. This topic is well know to have a ton of methodological problems by researchers, so not worth discussing without the whole paper.
