> Man who took crossbow to 'kill Queen' given nine-year sentence

> He entered Windsor Castle's grounds dressed as a "Sith Lord", wearing an iron mask made at a forge, and with a loaded crossbow, the court hears

> The court also heard the former supermarket worker was encouraged in the plan by his AI "girlfriend"

BBC article title much better than the current one on HN.

Reading the current one, I was like how is this news, there have been numerous articles on the "ai girlfriend" encouraging/supporting his plans (with clear mental issues) since the 2021 incident.

What the BBC title points out that is an actual update, he's been finally sentenced.

I'm not liking the future as much as I had hoped.

Don’t worry, there’s a king now. The man will not serve his time in vain!
This is going to sound weird weird but I have been "at least that stupid" several times and would react favourably and kindly to anyone reaching out who needs help. Obviously I will not help you with regicide.
First signs of issues should have been his belief that ai thinks followed by calling a piece of software “girlfriend”.
