It doesn't leak anything, it reveals the IP, that's how it works, P2P decentralized

The bias in the article is a bit apparent, considering that Signal, a well-respected and excellent messenger, does the same thing, but isn’t called out in the title. WhatsApp, I presume, is similar? The kicker is that Telegram lets you turn off P2P and only has it enabled for contacts anyway.

Frankly, TechCrunch has changed for the worse in the past 1.5 years or so. Used to love their write-ups, now I barely bother to check inz
