Must be it and not his constant shit stirring. There are like 10 Tesla's in our small German city and 3 of them have a sticker which roughly translates: "I bought it before I knew Elon is crazy."
It's not a good sign when you make excuses instead of making solutions. I would be prettty upset with his sentiment if I were a shareholder.
"You must all drive more so I can be rich."
First, it's behind a paywall. Second, for around the same price as a model 3 or a here in Ireland, I could get an Audi Etron or BMW i4, or any of the others available for sale. And most if not all have car play/Android Auto and are not helping pay for that gobshits future antics.
Paywalls are fine on HN, it's even covered in the site FAQ.
I'm not saying they are wrong, I’m just saying I can’t read it! I see someone posted a copy of it from archive.is, so will check it now.
Your archive link is just showing me an archived paywall.
Maybe that's what WIP stands for. They can't get around it but if someone else can they can show it then… can't remember ever seeing wip in their URLs before.
Yeah, that must be it and not that Teslas don't seem to live up to the hype and Musk's antics mean that an increasing number of Tesla owners are embarrassed to be seen in them.
Paywall, going to assume article draws from recent earnings. Emotions Click bait
“Am I so out of touch? … No, it’s the car buyers who are wrong.”
It's quite apparent he uses everything, including bad news, as leverage to propagate his pet ideas and mask inconvenient moments under a mountain of chaotic behavior. It's so unbelievable to me. Very Trumpian. As in: it's consistent, it's shameless, and also it's so clumsy that it's obvious, but also in our state of society... it keeps working.
