There are discounted accounts on rsync.net which don't give you a true shell, but do support borg backup. I have been using them for my main long-term offsite backup for years.
The linked page completely omits that you’re not simply saving money by forgoing technical support; expert accounts are also Single Region instead of auto-replicated. You don’t find out about that detail until you visit the pricing page. Presumably that’s what actually accounts for the reduced price.
It is is lot cheaper than single region with technical support.

There are four pricing levels - single region and auto replicated to second region, each of which can be with or without support.

It is not much of a saving per GB, but it has a much lower minimum (200GB rather than 800GB).

What I cannot see is whether it allows sub accounts which are (or used to be) free with the with service option.

I just switched from Back in Time to Vorta and am super impressed with the technology. It's fast, easy, and deduplicates. Pretty much perfect!
Have been using this for a while with Vorta (a Borg client), the compression keeps me within the limits and I've been very satisfied with the serice for the cost.

+1 from me.

I had a brief moment of panic when I read the title as "discontinued" instead of "discounted"
