I can imagine this backfiring slightly. Currently using an adblocker has the plausible deniability of “Well, without an account, you can just go to YouTube and start watching videos without agreeing to any ToS, no one told me I can’t block ads.” If YouTube have to ask for permission to check your browser, they might as well add the ToS to that prompt. NAL so not sure that would actually change anything legally.
