I really enjoyed watching this investigation into why the Las Vegas Sphere (an LED display covered giant spherical building, which I'd never heard of) has the wrong value of pi listed on their website. Along the way the video is a bit of a font of tidbits of random nerd knowledge.
I may write up a TL;DR and paste it in here, but I wouldn't want to spoil it for anybody who wants to follow this wild goose chase. in the video the answer becomes apparent after 12 mins
