It is possible but not from a mobile, and they make it quite difficult even on a desktop/laptop. I had a similar struggle the other day when I deactivated my Facebook page after I counted 64 ads in a row after one post from an actual human I know IRL. I also reduce temptation to use social media apps like that by not having the apps on my phone.
you can tap on the instagram logo and select “following” to only show followed users
I wasn’t on Instagram, I don’t use Instagram. I was on Facebook, and Facebook is Full of shitty adds that I don’t need to see. Now I don’t have Instagram OR Facebook and life is genuinely much nicer without it!

Am I understood right that I can register only from a mobile but delete the profile only from PC?

If you want to delete an account on a service and can't find wherever the option is hidden, or make sure you can delete it before you sign up, this website is really useful.

I can’t even sign up. My university uses it for communications and updates but my account gets deactivated upon creation every time. This is true for Google, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Twitter, and WeChat. (My current Twitter account is from a while ago but I can’t create new ones)
