before I've ever seen Durer's work in person, I had impression in my mind, that his works must be in large to medium size format. To my surprise, they were very tiny.
Dürer made some choices that should appeal to entrepreneurs: he was perhaps the first artist to explicitly sign his work, and did it with with his own brand, the stylized A/D. He also chose to work in printmaking, thus being able to readily reproduce his works more rapidly than any painter. His work is wonderful, but too many art commenters focus only on the art, and miss his commercial innovations.
