[–] wsc981 2y ago ↗ Offtopic: browsing the site you can find some nice photos of early 1900 Japan. [–] pyinstallwoes 2y ago ↗ Which do you consider most interesting? [–] wsc981 2y ago ↗ Herbert Geddes’ “Life in Japan” Collection: Hand-Coloured Glass Transparencies of the Meiji-Era: https://publicdomainreview.org/collection/herbert-geddes-lif...Kusakabe Kimbei’s Photographs of Late 19th-Century Japan: https://publicdomainreview.org/collection/kusakabe-kimbei-s-... [–] pyinstallwoes 2y ago ↗ These are good. I find Japanese culture absolutely mesmerizing and awe-inspiring in history. [–] kazinator 2y ago ↗ I tried memorizing Hentaigana via an Anki deck, but was failing at it so miserably, that I gave up.I see in that deck that my most reviewed card in the deck has a show count of 453! Yet I'm sure I'd lapse on it if shown it today. You might as well memorize plates of spaghetti.
