Hi HN,

I wanted to open up a discussion about people's experience working in Electrical/Technician trades.

What are your experiences (positive or negative) with regards to small appliance/electronics repairs and general health.

I've dabbled with electronics here and there and have been thinking of studying electronics repair in a technical college. However the idea of constant exposure to solder, chemicals, solvents and other potential and unavoidable work hazards make me think twice.

I have a tendency to worry too much (sometimes too much, sometimes just enough) and would be interested hear others thoughts.
