Some of the comments in the issues thread (e.g. the guy who says he has 4 monitors but is stuck on one) seem unaware that all you have to do is click "open new window" or "duplicate workspace" and move the tab to the newly formed window.

I agree that the ability, found in normal VS Code, to just drag out a tab and have it spawn a fully functional new window, has been sorely lacking, and it's glad to see such a seemingly trivial feature rolled out. But it's really mostly a matter of convenience, not actual functionality. Am I missing something?
