This week, we here at amy.app, are experimenting with a new way to teach the SATs. The idea is to combine SAT questions and the necessary SAT skills into one course.
After speaking with students, we found that they usually have limited time and are mostly interested in "beating" the SATs to achieve a high score.
So, we arranged the course in a manner that allows the student to always understand why they need to learn a particular skill. At its core, our course utilizes our automated tutoring software.
Please let me know your thoughts on this approach. It's in the early beta stage and currently only covers "Passport to Advanced Math".
Don’t make users register/login before at least an introductory landing page flow. There’s currently no indication of what exactly I’m signing up for. Ideally also allow immediate usage for a reasonable number of minutes before splash prompting for the user to create an account so their progress will be saved, etc.
