Show HN: An AI enhanced UI for YouTube recipes (rexipie.com)

My impression of following YouTube recipes has always been mixed: on one hand it's great to be able to see the desired look&feel, on the other I usually have to tab/scroll/scrub through three+ different windows to see the written steps, video demo, ingredient amounts, a unit converter, timer, etc. All while working with fire!

So I decided to make a single UI that links all those things together in one viewport, assisted by the power of AI to do things like:

- link each step to its appropriate time in the video

- add a timer widget to the steps that might need one

- convert ingredients into other units (including a WIP volume->weight converter)

- rescale ingredients

- find substitutions for dietary restrictions/prefs.
