Google has now called me more than 200 times, having scraped my business number from public filings, asking to verify it so that they can expose it in search results / verify my Google Local listing.
This is more than all other sources of calls. Combined.
It is by Patrick McKenzie, aka patio11. Advisor at Stripe, author of Bits About Money, etc. And not normally a person who gets too easily annoyed at institutional stupidity.
Trying to figure out if this is a humblebrag about how well his life is going. Cause... if the main thing you can think of to complain about is someone has called you 200 times, you're doing pretty well.
