It is stuff like this that really lends credence to the lab leak theory.
We're not actually so sure that it isn't like other virii, post viral syndrome is common but the actual causes are largely unknown. It could well be that everything we're discovering about covid is actually extremely common in other viral infections, just to a lesser extent.
