Ask HN: Is ChatGPT's error rate high?

I have a paid account (ChatGPT plus), and supposedly it can take in a file, like a PDF and allow you to chat with it about he PDF. I says it's able to take in up to 100mb files, bit even with 3mb files I noticed the error rate is really high, like 80% of the time is cannot generate a response. I get it should not be expected to be accurate, but it's outright unusable. Is this something that as paying users we're expected to accept because it's MVPing its way into billions? What has been your experience?
