Ask HN: Anyone get notified of GCP ending support for older versions of Node.js?

While viewing one of my cloud functions in the Google Cloud console, I noticed a banner at the top saying:

> Node.js 14 will be deprecated on Jan 30, 2024. Please update this function using the latest runtime version available.

I searched through my email to make sure, but I received zero notifications about this. It's not a huge deal, but it's pretty annoying. I also couldn't easily find what the supported versions were on any of the Google Cloud Functions documentation pages. The cloud functions page lists all of them going back to node.js 10[0]. However, I found the app engine support schedule listed the actual dates[1].

Just wondering if I was the only one who didn't get notified. It really feels like another straw on the GCP camel's back.

Edit: found the functions runtime support page: https://cloud.google.com/functions/docs/runtime-support
