Claims of 19σ are throwing up red flags but nothing seems off about the claims of the paper condemning MOND, except perhaps the obscure use of reparametrization to a 0-1 interpolation between Newtonian and MOND dynamics. Perhaps the extreme claims are a consequence of this parametrization moreso than the data themselves. Exciting times for cosmology regardless.
