Of course not, everyone knows Earth is rhombohedral and surrounded by Spirit Halloweens
It's an inverted torus and surrounded by itself.
Remember rule 1 of true conspiracies, folks: if you haven't seen it for yourself, it definitely exists.
All of my Illuminatus! aficionados know that Bugs Bunny is God, and Earth is shaped like a carrot.
The fact that such articles exist, to debunk conspiracy theories, is the reason our civilization is spiraling downwards. The freedom of speech doesn’t give the right to anyone expressing stupid and unscientific ideas.

We all know we’re inside a simulation, so in this instance of reality, the earth is not flat and there is no ice wall :-)

If i tell you 3 times, it's true.

What is sad, is that the media is becoming the new religion with all the upsides and downsides of religions: dogmatims, "answer" to all questions, holy wars etc.

I'm not a flat earther, but honestly when I see people who are ultra smug in their judgement of people who explore alternative ideas. It seems as if it might indicate some insecurity or other complex. Because when I hear something incorrect or wrong, that has nothing to do with me, I never feel its appropriate to just laugh at them or get triggered by it. Maybe the person is crazy? In which case its kind of mean to say the least. But what it does for sure is make you seem like a pompous ass to anyone with a rational and ethical mind.
Earth is 71% uncarbonated water. Obviously it's flat.
Zing!

Would you be interested in opening for my Kajagoogoo cover band? Just to be clear, we don't play "Too Shy" and never will.

Could you imagine taking someone from 1960 into 2023 and showing them this headline? It would be shocking beyond belief.
> Could you imagine taking someone from 1960

...or even 300 BC?

> In the 3rd century BC, Hellenistic astronomy established the roughly spherical shape of Earth as a physical fact and calculated the Earth's circumference.

Well, in conformal/stereographic geometry it can be. The south pole becoming the infinite circular line at the horizon.

Distances are not preserved though.

> If Antarctica's wall is 60,000 miles in circumference making the equator nearly 25,000 miles

I mean... the math doesn't even check out on this conspiracy theory.

No rational, intelligent person could believe the world is flat… I've always felt that was just trolling. I'm sure there are people who have delusions about a lot of things, but it's just not even in the realm of rational thinking.
We live in a simulation, Earth have no real shape, it is tailored for the observer.
Why do they assume that the ice wall would be in the south and not the north?
