Question: Hiring Quality Freelancers

Does anybody else find it difficult to hire quality freelancers? Like videographers are either the cost of a full agency, or if they're reasonably priced you have to worry about if they're going to show up or not. Any reasonable solutions out there?

blame the platforms; there's a lot of great talent out there; hyper-capitalism based on greed is what has surfaced poor quality...
