Is it just AI?

Seems to me we have said all that needed to be said when it comes to web sites. Cloud systems are fairly mature and unlikely to change that much. What else is there? Is software engineering a "solved" discipline?

AI is a big part of it. But the web platform continues to evolve (Javascript -> Typescript, WASM, Web APIs, Rust). And we will still need firmware engineering.
