How about instead of treating your jobless friend to a meal, you team up and try to find a job together. Then maybe a smoke and a pancake once the days ends (on you of course)
Great suggestions. Don't forget that you might be eating well now, but things can happen. And generosity now can circle back to help you when you really need it.
