This is just an idea...but if you accept BTC and other forms of payment, this means you are now able to laundry some payments on the back of other legit ones. As said, just an idea, i have no knowledge of how money laundering works
I don't think my case is niche enough to require such attention. I mean, isn't crypto already widely accepted by many companies that also accept fiat?
I'm trying to understand this, but I don't see how would Stripe be held liable for any laundry that I make. Any stripe related payments are completely separated.
If all it takes is me removing btc payments, I have to do it, but that's a horrible twist in my trust and love for stripe (which was not grounded in reality/experience, but merely on all YC vids praising them)
