I don’t know why they have AI in the marketing for this. Tone modeling amps is not new technology and this doesn’t appear to be anything but that in a price conscious package.
If there is any “AI” being used, maybe it’s one step in the capturing process to filter out noise or something else via a slightly different method. Again, not groundbreaking and not worthy of the AI title.
That all said, it’s a cool product that makes amp modes more accessible for regular people. It also highlights why a good clean amp will always be the best option for the home guitarist. It’s easy to layer on top of clean!
