Ask HN: Has the quality of Meta's social media products fallen?
Over the last year, I've noticed a number of bugs that should not be a thing for the major products of a massive tech company:
1. As I speak, I am unable to log in to my organisation's Instagram account because the security code I requested has not been delivered to me via SMS, WhatsApp or email. It's been almost 2 hours.
2. Since December last year, I've had a post pinned on another organisation's Facebook page with no way to remove it. We usually pin recent posts to increase visibility. We can't do that anymore.
3. The Facebook Business Suite mobile apps don't clear unread message and comment notifications after they're read. This has been the case for years.
Does anyone else feel like they're neglecting quality on their core products?
