I was rather let down with GPT, sub based use or not. I mean, it's generative AI, I know what that entails but still. So color me surprised when I found myself in a rather /r/iam14andthisisdeep with Claude over the idea of AI being aware, understanding emotions and all the horseshiz that goes with that.
Anyway, what say ye about the two and their impact (current/upcoming) on the AI landscape?
Claude is focused on state of the art context length and safety while maximizing performance and minimizing token costs.
Sorta like BMW vs Volvo.
Both highly concerned about safety and performance and having amazing features. It's about tradeoffs. Ultimately, I use all available foundational models. Each has specialized into a different niche. All are irreplaceable in my monthly life events.
