You can't. It's hosted on a single machine and most of the code is single-threaded. It's maintained by a small group of people with limited time and resources, and as far as I know there is no way to get access to the codebase.
HN is funded by Y-Combinator, who I'm certain would be happy to take your money but I'm not confident it would get put towards improving this site.
HN is run by a VC fund with some of the richest people on the planet.
If money were a consideration (and it isn't) there is nothing even a collection among users could achieve that anyone there (except the presumably non-billionaire HN moderator) might even deign to think two seconds about.
