A man with an idea but no plan on how to achieve it. Argentinians are in for an ugly ride. The problem is not the central bank it's the fact that it's not independent of politics to manage the economy. Getting rid of the central bank will not help. It will make it harder to manage the economy. My suspicion is that the government will be more likely to print pesos to pay its bills and make inflation worse. With dollarisation, the treasury is not able to print money so the government has no choice but to control its spending but it has a large impact on the country since the government is less likely to provide needed services especially when the economy takes a downturn.
