(this is a joke, making fun of the saying "eskimo have 100 names for snow" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eskimo_words_for_snow)snow, sleet, slush, corn, flurry, hoar, rime, penitents, whiteout, ... the list goes on and on. It looks like English/German often just make compound words or binomials instead of unique names.
