Ask HN: Can F1 students apply for Y Combinator's summer batch?

I will be starting my MBA this fall at Boston and will be interested in applying for next summer's Ycombinator, instead of doing a summer internship. But, I'm not sure if F1 students can apply for the program. Has anyone gone through this route before?
