Tell HN: Anti-bot detectors are becoming aggressive and unfriendly

So just today, I was asked to prove that I'm human (yay!) yet again.

The latest batch of these detectors have become extremely unfriendly and aggressive.

The latest one asked me to match the shadow with a tiny icon in the background. Even on a large 32" monitor, I had to zoom in to even see the icon.

Surely, this isn't the best way to weed out bots? And if it isn't, what's the alternative?

I treat it like paywalls anymore: You don't want me using your service, I will not use your service.

Be easy to bounce, and reserve your frustration for things that actually matter to you.

I have never been that convinced of my humanity; how the hell am i supposed to convince someone else's stupid skirpt?
