Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages and accents can be removed and the result is perfectly understandable.
In Portuguese, which has more accents we also learned to live with systems that don't support them properly, yet caça and caca aren't the same, and the recipient better understand the limitation of the comunication medium.

Based on the screenshots alone I'm confident that they've succeeded in their goals.

Is there some fun way to take Plan 9 out for a spin on a macos system ? Or its designated successor, Inferno ?
9Front runs fine under VirtualBox -- just be sure to pre-allocate the whole virtual hard disk. (You only need a tiny one.) If you use sparse allocation, formatting fails.
