Instead of the gaslighting people that report chatgpt getting lazier and worse over the past month, looks like gemini actually forced them to ack this issue. I've seen alot of people post on twitter recently that gemini was returning all the code without //add your logic here comments and looks like this forced chatgpt to post a response.

With fb + ibm adding another big player in this space, we might even get some ungated models (within reason) soon as that companies "competitive edge" to get people to sign up. I don't see gated models being a nash equilibrium without government's mandating it.
