Millions of Cats is still really a great book, one I love reading to my kids :-)
Pete Beard provides a biography of Wanda Gág, the author of Millions of Cats, in part 25 of his video series "Unsung Heroes of Illustration" [1], with many examples of her work.

I’ve never even heard of this series—thanks for sharing!
The Front Page (the Broadway play) will also enter the public domain in 2024, even though it's hard to imagine a better adaptation than His Girl Friday from 1940.
Off the top of my head I probably only know the melody for fewer than half of the listed songs, though some of the others might sound familiar if I heard them. Mack the Knife may be the biggest hit on the list, since it evolved into a jazz/popular music standard and The Threepenny Opera is still regularly performed as well.

I wonder what songs from 2023 will still be popular or recognizable once they fall out of copyright some 100 years from now?
