Unions in Europe are not on the height of their strength but still a force to be reckoned with. If Musk thinks he can handle them the same way he does in the U.S. he is in for a rude awakening. There are many companies in Europe who have built their success in cooperation with the labor movement, not on antagonism and Musk would be well advised to take a hint. Public opinion and politics are not in s as positive disposition towards him over here, either.
