If you take a frozen pizza, add spices and extra cheese and better toppings; you can have a pretty good meal with less effort than a homemade from scratch pizza, and not much more expense.

We buy the "cheese" red barons as premade pizza bases for this purpose. The DiGornio is much spendier for not much better: with the exception of their "Pan pizza" which is $10 but worth it.

We've done home made / froze for later pizza crusts a few times, its a lot of work and we haven't got a great result yet.
