I hope they don't transition to a subscription model. I currently use VMware workstation at home and love it.
"continue to be able to purchase and use our favorite desktop hypervisor apps the same way they have been for the past several years" infers "perpetual license keys", so fingers crossed.

I assume it'll just be the same old same old "each new version is an upgrade release from your current license".

That doesn't affect Workstation or Fusion.

Yet.

How on earth do you read this article, see them say "We just announced our new subscriptions and people are asking about these other products- it won't affect them." And you ignore that, and post a link to the same news they themselves linked in their blogpost? What on Earth were you trying to accomplish?
"Still committed" does not sound reassuring. I'm a happy Parallels customer.
