Let's say the transcendental genius group is the kind of intellect that is one in 1,000,000 among the population, so there's 7,000 of them alive today.

If so: What is their field? What are they working on? What are their achievements? What is holding them back?

Alternatively (if you have more time): Can you share their story?

i have personally known four, and heard of others. probably HN people would not accept them out of atheistic/materialistic bias, so IMO it's not worth saying more.

I've been told these types of people exist on a level above money, and material possessions. So excited that you're one of the lucky few who has been able to meet four of these kinds of people.

I'd love to know what these four people do and how they are (or are not) applying their genius (if they have chosen to)...

If you can really keep track of 150 relationships, those 7,000 are close to 1,000,000 other people. If you say that at least 1 in 1,000 of people have delusions of grandeur, you are looking at a population 7 times bigger so that first answer that got voted down is the canonical one.
