I'm pretty excited about this. This standard has a lot of things but the on-street charging would be a game changer for lots of folks. Sure you have to cart your own cable around but that's much better than dealing with "extra" cables lying around on the sidewalk. Plus the new voltage standard simplifies the installation of new stations, which sounds good to me.
