Anyone who's taken VEN 3 at UC Davis knows that, at industrial-scale production, the (blinded) best tasting wines only needs to to retail for $30 USD per bottle. It's only the snob factor-placebo effect that makes people "believe" they can taste a difference that isn't there. It's all in their heads because they heard the price. Which is why all hosts who offer wine should buy cheap stuff and lie that it's rare and expensive.

PS: There is no safe limit of EtOH consumption.
