Yes, right, that's called 'getting a second opinion'. They didn't do that, they sold a multi-million dollar item for $150 and regret it.
Its not an unbiased opinion when the guy doing the estimation is also the guy buying the thing from you. That's called, making a sale. You have to assume the other guy is low-balling you.
